DOTTOR LIVINGSTONE
In February 2006 Michele Kathak begins to play and collaborate with Dottor Livingstone, and italian rock-pop band.
During spring-summer 2006 Dottor Livingstone are playing around Italy to showcase their last cd "L'assenza".
Line-Up: Anna Basso - lead vocal, Andrea "Abo" Bove - rhodes, Fabrizio "Cit" Chiapello - giutars, Alessandro Maiorino - double bass/elect.bass, Michele Kathak Strocchi - drums/percussions.
ESMERALDA SCIASCIA
In september 2006 Michele Kathak begins to play with Esmeralda Sciascia, an italian singer who plays with Mau Mau, Voci Atroci and Trilok Gurtu. Michele Kathak plays percussions in the concerts where Esmeralda Sciascia presents her last cd ?La macchia?.
LAURA MARS
Michele Kathak plays percussions with the italian singer Laura Mars and guitar player Giulio Cesare Vetrone at the "International Poetry Festival 2006" in Genova supporting the poetess Nicoletta Bidoia.
The showcase is shared with Laura Mars (singer), Nicoletta Bidoia (poetess), Giulio Cesare Vetrone (acustic giutar).
BOBBY SOUL
During a funky jam-session Michele Kathak begins to play percussions with the singer of the funky band Blindosbarra from Genova and his new band LesGastones.
GINGER BREW
In 2005/2006 Michele Kathak begins to play percussions with Ginger Brew, african singer who collaborates with various artists such as Paolo Conte, Maria Carey, and Elisa.
JITIN H. PATEL
Together with indian percussionist Jitin H.Patel coming from OUTCAST, the Dj/Mc set from London, Michele Kathak plays percussions and drums melting indian and african rhythms.

The band is set up together with Francesco and Cino, two italian bass players with whom Michele Kathak had played in the past.
From the ideas of Francesco Gallo the trio starts to build up songs in order to play live their own music 11 music is a crossover between rock and funky music. The trio plays live during winter 2005/2006 in Turin and for the Olympic Winter Games in Italy.
Line-up: Francesco Gallo: elect.bass,lead voice - Cino: elect.bass - Michele Kathak Strocchi: drums, percussions, backing vocals.

Founding and leading this band mainly composed by guys and girls with difficoulties, I had the opportunity of been part of one of the most beautyfull experiences of my life!!! There are fifteen of us and we are all concentrating on the rhythm side of the music so we all play percussions and drums improvising every single gig. The name of the band means Free Musical Thought L(ibero) P(ensiero) M(usicale)
IMPROVVISA-MENTE
Improvvisa-Mente comes out from a sudden meeting between Maria Catena Mamone (Voice) and Michele Kathak Strocchi (Drums and Pianoforte), with the idea of experimenting the union between two instruments apparently different like voice and drums and the union between voice and pianoforte, helped by the curiosity of looking for the improvisation (Improvise-action).
The desire of giving a more solid structure to this basic idea leads to the necessity of choosing already known music and try to give a new and personal interpretation to it! The duo recorded a 'live' cd in 2004. "Percussions blend with voice point out for us the element Earth,while voice and pianoforte reminds us of the element Air"
DEDALUS
In year 2002 Michele Kathak participated at the recording of the lastest album by "I Dedalus", playing drums and percussions.
The album won the "Darwin Price" as the best rock-progessive album in year 2004.
It follows the chance to play live the compositions of Fiorenzo Bonansone, founder of the band comin' from the '70. SHIVA
In year 2001/2002 Michele Kathak played drums with the italian rock band Shiva. The band recorded a demo and partecipated to some festivals in Italy.
